How could Princess Leia say that she remembers her mother during "Return of the Jedi". Clearly this is impossible?

Leia is talking about her adoptive mother, Queen Breha of Alderan. I believe she answered Luke's question before he revealed that he was her brother. Breha was the only mother Leia would have known.

It was either an error in the story or she was talking about the adoptive mother, I lucas did not think a few things through when he made the prequels, and then as film making technology changed he again did somethings that did not look right, also if you look at the controls in the earlier films they look dated compared to the later 3 even though they took place earlier.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
