It would seem that it is becoming so. I have written to Yahoo! Answers so many times asking that they eliminate the Anonymous feature that they actually responded!
Unfortunately the response was a definite NO. They thanked me for my suggestion and explained that they have no intention of changing anything any time in the foreseeable future. End of story I suppose.
It does say something about the people in the world when so many are utilizing this feature. It drives me nuts because everyone already IS anonymous if they chose to be, but with the anonymous feature, we cannot tell one "anonymous" person from another. Makes it tough to know who is wasting our time or not.
At first a few of us tried to boycott the anonymous users, but that didn't fly. Still, I am much more apt to answer a question from someone I am familiar with, or actually less apt to answer a question that is asked by anonymous. Nothing we can do except roll with it I suppose.
Peace.
It (Philosophy Section) is now dominated by questions from those people only. There all several Avatars.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
