How did Howard Carter's discovery of King Tut's tomb impact archaeology, Hollywood movies, books, and society?

Well, some of his activities, and those of his patron Lord Carnarvon, certainly caused a cracking down on the supervision of archaeological activities within Egypt. It did not impact Archaeology per se. It impacted that body of knowledge regarding 18th dynasty burials of royal persons in Egypt, including, but not limited to, the dimensions and design of even a tomb of an insignificant and short-lived pharaoh.

As to Hollywood and books? It gave them a silly shortened name to call some little known pharaoh by as if he were their best friend? It provided some focal point for invention?

Such as the way that people insist on mentioning King Tutankhamon and Nefertiti together - as if they were a pair. As to society - it has allowed them to feel as if they are very knowledgeable regarding a subject matter that is way more in-depth and complex than 90% of the people seem to be able to imagine. It makes cute cartoons, ridiculous romances, and millions of dollars - if not billions - every year ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
