How Did Kilauea Get It's Name?
Kilauea means "Spewing" in the Hawaiian language... it was named this because of it's ongoing lava showers. Kilauea is the most active volcano in Hawaii, along with Mt.St. Helens, and there have been 33 eruptions recorded throughout history.

Good news for lava viewers! The Hawaii County Civil Defense recently announced they will be extending the lava viewing area at Kalapana. Kilauea volcano, in eruption for 28 years, continuously produces lava that flows into the ocean and now visitors can get a closer look at this natural phenomenon.
This new and improved vantage point will give visitors the closest views in recent months, and the best way to experience a volcano is taking an organized tour. Volcano tours are popular because the expert guides are fully trained in not just basic volcanology, but Hawaiian history as well. This recent episode of lava flow is perfect timing for residents of Hawaii participating in Volcano Awareness Month during month of January.
Kilauea has been active since 1983 and its lava flow is always shifting. As one of the most active volcanoes in the world, Mt. Kilauea has a personality of its own as it constantly changes direction on it’s path down from the mountain to the ocean.
Depending on the speed and direction of lava flow, the Hawaii Civil Defense and Volcanoes National Park decides where onlookers can safely view. New hardened areas of fields of lava are now safe to walk on allowing onlookers to traverse closer to the Kalapana lava viewing. Its like the goddess of fire, Madam Pele, knows about volcano awareness month and is blessing us with fantastic new viewpoints.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
