How did monopolies affect large businesses in the early 1900's?

Monopolies were businesses that had no competition. They were the only one that made a certain product or a certain service, like the Phone Company. They could get their buyers to do what ever they wanted, give bad service, and could set high prices.

Large corporations could keep low prices and so people would buy their products instead of thei competitor's products, forcing their competitors to go out of business, forming a monopoly.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
