How did the Democratic party hide it's past to get minorities to vote for them?

Stop trying to mislead people. Conservatives started the KKK even though they referred to themselves as Democrats. And then those same conservatives left the Democrats and are now voting Republican.

You are a conservative, and your wing is the one that defended slavery, the confederates, and the KKK. You can call yourselves whatever party you want, but you're still the conservatives. Don't ever again try to act like liberals started the KKK.

Yes, Democrats are right-wing, but the Republicans have seemingly jumped over the Democrats right-of-center position into a fringe right-wing position. I would respect the Republicans if they were anything like the moderates they once were.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
