How did you come to your spiritual beliefs (or lack thereof)?

If you put aside all the gods that were created by religion, and think of it on a simple level can help. Ask yourself "did this universe get here on accident, or for a reason". If you said it was for a reason, you're a theist.

If you said on accident, atheist. If you can't be sure, agnostic. Its easy to say you are an atheist when the only examples of God are ones that were created by religion (which are all completely retarded btw).

If you are in between there are answers for that too. If you start putting percentages, for example 90% sure it was an accident but 10% it could have a purpose, you could call yourself atheist agnostic, which doesn't make you atheist, its just kind of in the title, since you don't reject the thought that a higher power could exist.

My Dad's an atheist, but he "is" still open to the idea of there being a god. You'd fall in with him. I would've said you were agnostic if you did believe in a god, but didn't know if we knew it yet.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
