Too subtle. When you stop laughing, and realize how many don't get it, you start crying.
There is some truth that heavy regs creates jobs....but at the expense of productive jobs for unproductive jobs. A complicated IRS Code, for example, does put money in the pockets of teams of CPA's and tax attorneys.....but adds no value whatsoever to the product, company, or the nation. It also shuts down or limits people from going into particular industries or business altogether (new entries, and increased costs to existing businesses).
Increasing taxes however does not force business to hire more people to "make up money lost in taxes". Higher taxes usually end up in constricted markets rather than growing markets (excepting times of overwhelming growth...we certainly are not in at the moment).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
