How do I convince my Muslim parents to let me wear tank tops/shorts?

I don't know if you can due to school dress codes. I think shorts have to be a 4 or 5" inseam. Lame, right?

But, if they do allow it, just leave the house in a "parent approved" outfit, and change at school in your outfit. :P A LOT of teens do this.

There are no good reasons to be wearing short shorts to school, trust me. There are good reasons to be wearing knee length shorts to school, short shorts-no. Plus you will get written up for violating the dress code unless your school is liberal.

Wearing short shorts do not keep you cooler, wearing shorts that are NOT jean shorts keep you cooler. I feel bad about the fact that you are still in school. I'm out of school as of now for summer because I live in an area where summer is pretty bad.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
