How do I enlarge a quilting applique pattern?

You may need to do this by hand. Print out the pattern and then pencil in a 1" square grid. Then you can take each piece of the grid and enlarge it, transfer each part of the 1' square onto a larger grid, in your case, each 1" needs to become 10" .

If you do each 10" grid on a separate piece of paper, then you can staple or tape the individual grids together to make the size quilt you need. The only thing is that somethime enlarging something that much, the design doesn't look as good as at a smaller size. So you may need to play around with the dimensions to see what looks best.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
