Seal of approval can satisfy Massachusetts requirements for lead paint abatement and containment, qualifying the property owner for a tax credit of up to $1500.
Before any encapsulant work can be done, a licensed lead inspector or a risk assessor must determine those surfaces in the unit which are candidates for encapsulation.
