Most combination locks have 3 options of 2 digit numbers to solve. 20³ = 8000 possible combinations. Say you knew the first number... 20² = 400 possible combinations.
You can reasonably solve this in 2 hours sitting on the couch, if you keep an organized tally. Also, keep in mind, some versions will have a key lock on the back for a master key. These can be picked easily.
If you don't care about the lock they can easily be opened with a small thin screwdriver. Simply pop off the number wheel then the plate behind it with a little effort. The innards can be dumped out then and lock will open but broken.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
