How do I put my songs on a new playlist and a new itunes?

Everything in my computer got deleted including my itunes,so I downloaded a new one,and I want to put all my songs back on the new itunes and on a playlist so when my ipod isn't connected I can still listen to them,BUT I eject my ipod and the playlist with my songs go away I just want to save the songs to a new playlist. Help? PLEASE!
