How do I reprogram the FACTORY keyless entry/alarm system on my 97-99 Montero Sport?

A The FACTORY keyless entry reprogram procedure is different than that posted on the DIY section. This system is added to the Sport either at the dealership or at the port when they arrive from Japan. It is NOT hardwired to the Sport and can be added or removed if desired.

To program a new keyfob- simply turn the ignition to the on position and depress and HOLD the LED/button on the left side of the steering wheel. After several seconds, the alarm will enter program mode (in will chirp and cycle the door locks to confirm). While still holding the LED down- hit the unlock then the lock button of your keyfob.

If the fob is accepted- it will again chirp and cycle the doorlocks to confirm. If you have several keyfobs- hit the lock then unlock buttons to those BEFORE releasing the LED. Once you release the LED- you will take it out of program mode.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
