How do I shorten URLS if i'm using a simple web browser as my twitter client?

From researching URL shortening websites for years, I've found some very interesting ones. Personally, we all have our favorites, but there are plenty of really unique ones out there. I think bit.Ly works well with Twitter.

Bit. Ly also has some quality analytics, as well as a Google Gadget that works inside of Gmail, so if you use Gmail, you may want to try out the Bit.Ly gadget. I use it in Gmail, and it works great!

Cli. Gs has a great URL shortening toolbar service that works with it. This seems to be the latest out there.

There are a number of websites available into which you can enter a URL and it will shorten it for you straight away and give you the shortened URL. You can then just copy and paste this into the browser based twitter client. Some examples are: bit.ly/ tinyurl.com/ is.gd/ The first of which (bit.Ly) actually allows you to post directly to your Twitter account from their site, if you sign up (for free) first.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
