Spellex ActiveX can check text entered in text areas on Web pages viewed with Internet Explorer. ActiveX Spelling Engine’s control is digitally signed, therefore, making it "safe for scripting" and "safe for initialization". Unfortunately, Netscape does not currently support ActiveX controls.
