How do I write a query to compare the indexes on two SQL Server tables?

If the two databases are on the same server then you can do a series of queries that outer joins the sys. Indexes and sys. Index_columns tables on both databases.

You will also need to look at sys. Index_columns to check that the columns are the same (also check for the same order - this will affect query plans).

Sys. Indexes holds all the information about the indexes on a given database.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
