We bought a house that uses propane for cooking, it's our first time not having electric. The house didn't come with a stove, but we got one from some friends that is set up for propane (vs natural gas). Can someone tell me how to connect the stove to the line?
I assume there is some kind of pipe or tubing that we need to buy? We have no idea what we're doing, and we called the propane company but they don't offer this kind of service so we're on our own... they will come check the connection for us at the time of our first delivery, so i'm not worried about blowing anything up. We won't use it until it's checked.
Any info is much appreciated! Asked by southernbelle 38 months ago Similar questions: connect propane kitchen stove line Home.

Don't The propane stoves & gas stoves have different jets. I can't remember is you can connect from the from a gas line to a propane line. Get an expert to do it.
The guy that delivers fuel for his primary job may or may not be aware of everything that needs to be done. What heats the water heater? .
But don't try! You probably are not allowed to by local law. Usually the gas company has to do it, to make sure the right connectors are used, etc. Just call them.
Usually 20 minutes work..
1 There should be a line coming into the kitchen that's intended to be connected to the stove. HOWEVER, having said that, I prefer to be WAY OVERLY SAFE when it comes to working with gas lines. I'd call a licensed/certified plumber to make the connection, test it and give you a written receipt for the work.
You don't want to blow up your new house.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
