Radiologic technologists are responsible for operating imaging machines and equipment and taking X-rays of patients. This profession allows you to work in a variety of settings such as hospitals, doctors’ offices, laboratories and diagnostic imaging centers. Some radiologic technologists even perform more complex duties, such as computerized tomography, or CT, scans, magnetic resonance imaging, or MRIs, and ultrasounds.
