The observance known as All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day in much of the Western world is called Los Dias de los Muertos in Spanish-speaking regions. Translated as "Days of the Dead," this festival spans November 1 and November 2, and is the cause of much celebration in the vibrant Latino communities of Los Angeles.
