How Do You Cope With Poor Workplace Culture?

Coping with a poor workplace culture is a survival strategy many people need in today's rough economy. It does not require you to think happy thoughts or go to your happy place, but it does require you to focus on what changes you can make to improve your situation. Make a "needs versus wants" list for yourself.

Needs are just that, things you need to be happy and fulfilled at work and in your life. For example, you need to feel useful and appreciated at work and with a loved one. Wants are things you would like to have but are not really necessary for true, lasting happiness.

For example, you want a trip to Europe. The "needs versus wants" list is your road map, both personally and professionally, to help guide you while you are in this less-than-perfect company. Measure each decision you make while at the company against your needs and wants list.

Will joining in a fight at work answer a need or a want? Will gaining skills at your current job prepare you for a job you will really ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
