Colorful and interesting boards add to your classroom appearance and atmosphere making it a place where you and your students want to spend the day! Use bulletin boards as an educational tool; students will enjoy publishing their work. Cover your classroom bulletin board with fade resistant colorful paper.
It is nice to use the fadeless paper because then you can keep the background paper up the whole school year and just change the border and student work. Choose a bulletin board border (store bought or teacher made) that matches the color of the paper or goes with the theme of the board (such as a blue water border for a water cycle board or a star border for a 'star writer' board). Put border around the edge of the paper.
Put up students' writing and/or artwork. To make it more visually stimulating you may want to put up a variety of items with the same theme. In the picture above of a fairy tale bulletin board there is a large piece of paper with a fairy tale the class wrote ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
