How do you do that Turbo boost while going around corners in Mario Kart for the DS? I bought mine used without an instruction manual?

When you go around a corner hold in the R trigger button on the controller. While doing this press the directional buttons (the left and right ones) back and forth from left to right repeatedly until the sparks from your car turn blue. When this happens release the trigger and you should have an extra turbo boost.

I beleive you hold down L or R and press in the opposite direction on the d-pad (+) until blue sparks come off your kart. Then release L or R.

While pressing the direction that you want to turn in, Press R, and then rapidly press left and right on the D-pad, until the sparks are blue. Usually, I just rock my thumb back and forth on the D-pad. Let go of R.

Snaking (boosting back and forth on long, straight paths) is a way to get ahead in races. My friend told me about it, but it's kind of hard to do. Well, at least for me.

According to the cheat guru forum: "hold R on your ds which is the button on the back on the right and turn the way you need to, then press left and right on your arrows on the pad repeatedly you will get blue sparks then red once red you can let go of R.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
