At least once in your life, you should go to faire and dress up! The choices of garb are abundant-from pirate to princess to peasant. This article will teach you how to dress like a period peasant girl so that you can enjoy your turkey leg in style.

Dress in layers. The first layer is a peasant gown. This would serve a dual purpose as nightgown and blouse.

The sleeves are long and puffy, gathered at the wrists. These are usually white, and wool. Occasionally, you can wear other muted colors, like pink (like I did in the pic).

Layer two, are your skirts. Two different (MUTED EARTH TONE) colors of a broom skirt will work. You can cut the top skirt along the bottom into points if you like.
