How do you feel about Operation Northwoods?

Operation Northwoods scares the crap out of me. The very idea of our government plotting a terror attack on the very people who voted them in is horrendous. I never knew much about it until today when I read the papers, but now I feel very vunerable.

How can we as citizens ever feel 100% safe when there is so much secrecy in Washington? How do we raise our sons and daughters to be good American citizens when the American Government is ready to destroy us. I know that this is something that happened in history, but how do we know we are not getting plotted against now?

Look at the Health care reform bill that is being shoved down our throats. They do not care what this bill will cost us as long as they get it. I am not just talking dollars either.

America has said that they don't want it but its coming through late night votes and secret meetings. Sorry didn't mean to go tangent on you. I just never imagined in my wildest that Our beloved country could even think to do such a horrible thing.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
