How do you fix a iPod Touch 2nd Gen that has been both water damaged and possibly salt damaged?

If water was spilled on it just today take a bowl of uncooked rice, and drop your ipod in it. Leave it there for at least 6-8 hours. If it is recent water damage, the rice will absorb the water and your ipod will revive.

If its not recent water damage still give this a shot. Its not likely a virus, if anything call your cuz and retrieve the warranty. If its not been tampered with, jail broken etc. they will provide you with a new one.

BUT before you go to apple, you see the headphone jack, shine a light in there. If its not white, like its red, thats proof of water damage and they won't replace the ipod. Be sure to make sure its white if its not just stick a tiny piece of white paper like tissue, a tiny piece to make the circle in thier look white.

The geniuses at apple would replace your itouch this way. Good luck.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
