How do You Format a Floppy Disk?

Your computer will do it. On a mac, as soon as you put the disk in, it will ask you what you want to do with it. On a pc, you are going to need to get a burner program that will format it for you.

Nothing you can do on your own really. Toast titanium is a great program for burning. Open the program, drag the video file you want onto it, and click on burn.

Then your disk is done. Formats it all on its own. This is the easiest way to do it.

I don't think you need to actually format the disk, I think it just has to be in the right format. I use a program that came with my dvd burner to do the reformatting of the video: Nero Express. You can also download it from their website.It takes the raw video and converts it into DVD files and lets you add menus and choose your buttons and backgrounds.

I can only tell you how to do that on a mac, and it's real easy. Open imovie and click on make a magic movie. THen you will press play on your camera, and will do the rest.

Won't be that simple on a pc, I know that. There are products out there where they are a stand alone device, and you can just plug the camera into it, and record onto a dvd. Not sure what it is a called, but I know i've see them in computer mags.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
