Identify Mica Mica appears as sheety, shiny, plated crystals, sometimes displaying as 'books', where each cleavage plane is easily separated by a knife blade. Mica is also on the low end of the Mohs hardness scale, at 2-2.5, so you can probably scratch it with your fingernail. Mica is often found in association with granite, or granite pegmatites.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
