Decide how big you want your bowl, before you pick a mold. If you want a small bowl for a polymer clay scene you're creating, use a small marble. If you want a large bowl for jewelry or other items, use a medium to large sized bowl, a ball or a piece of large, round fruit.
Warm the polymer clay in your hands so that it's pliable and warm. Using oil or water, coat the bowl mold with a light layer so the clay won't stick. Form the clay around the mold until you have your desired bowl shape.
Use a sharp knife to cut off excess clay from the mold. Cook the polymer clay bowl in the oven, based on the package directions. If you're using a mold such as a plastic ball or other item that's not oven proof, remove the clay bowl from the mold and then ... more.
