Whether for Halloween or a costume party, poodle skirts never seem to go out of style. Making a poodle skirt isn't hard to do, especially making it out of felt. As long as you know basic sewing techniques and can operate the basic functions of a sewing machine, you'll have a poodle skirt in no time.
Cut your pattern pieces from the pattern that you will be making a poodle skirt out of. Lay your felt material out on a flat surface, such as a table or smooth floor. Laying it out on fabric such as carpet will have you picking up that material and pinning it to your felt and pattern.
Lay your pattern pieces out on the felt material and pin them down. Cut your pattern pieces out. Wrap a piece of elastic around your waist to get the right size measurement and add 1 inch to it, allowing for the seam.
Unpin the pattern from the fabric. Lay the front and back sections of your skirt together with the wrong sides of the fabric facing each other. Pin the sides.
Sew a 1/2 inch seam along each ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
