Fun, relaxing, and an easy craft to make, a fabric wreath is a fun project for all ages. Plus, it's a wonderful project for recycling those old fabric scraps. Invite friends over for a wreath-making party -- it's a craft that everyone can make successfully.
Sort through your fabric scraps to find color and pattern combinations that you find pleasing. Focus on the colors because after you cut the pieces you won't see much pattern. Press the scraps.
Cut the scraps into one inch by six inch strips using your rotary cutter or scissors. The strips do not have to be perfectly uniform. You will need about 360 strips.
Use a simple overhand knot to tie each strip to the wire frame. Start at one point and work your way around rather than wrapping randomly on the frame. Watch how your patterns are combining and cut more strips of a color if you need it.
You can do a random pattern, as in the sample, or group similar colors together. Leave an inch or so of empty wire on one side to allow space ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
