Find the jeans. If you can't dig up an old pair of jeans that still fit, buy a pair off a clearance rack or at a thrift store. • Cut the legs off.
Cut a bit lower than the desired length. The extra length will be taken off while you are making the length of the legs even, or when you're fraying the ends. For extra fraying, use the sharp end of a pair of scissors or another pointed tool to rip off the legs.
• Bleach the shorts. Throw them in the bathtub or a bucket, and fill with enough water so that your shorts are completely submerged. Pour 1-2 cups of bleach in the tub, and slosh the water around the tub to mix in the bleach.
Wear gloves. Let the shorts sit in the bleach water until they are the desired color. Depending on the desired color and the initial color, this could take a couple days or a couple hours.
When the shorts are done bleaching, rinse them out. If you don't wash the shorts, the bleach will continue to fade the color. You may wish to skip this step if you use an ... more.
Bleach your jeans, either completely or just with streaks. Set up a workspace with your jeans, running water, rubber gloves, and extra rags. You need to take precautions in case the bleach comes in contact with your skin, eyes, or other organs; if that does happen, you must wash the affected area out immediately.
• Put on the rubber gloves to protect your hands. Do not handle chlorine without protective gear and avoid spilling it. • Put a pair of jeans that you'd like to bleach in the washing machine.
Do not add other clothes to the washing machine (unless you would also like to bleach them). • Add a cup of chlorine to the place you're supposed to add detergent. Do not actually add laundry detergent or other substances.
• Put the washing machine on a medium or low cycle with warm water, and let the machine run. • If you want the color to be even lighter, run the jeans through the wash again with another 1/2 - 1 cup of bleach. • When you're satisfied with the color, wash your jeans ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
