Many of us remember the fun of making homemade Christmas ornaments out of salt dough but I have found that working with cinnamon adds a whole new dimension of scent plus a lovely, old brown dough look. It's easy, fun and you will have a hard time resisting a little taste...just keep in mind that you've added glue! The recipe for homemade Christmas ornament dough made with cinnamon is simple: Mix 1/12 cups of ground cinnamon; 1 cup applesauce; 1/4cup white glue Mix and knead until the mixture looks and feels like cookie dough.
After kneading, cover the dough and let it rest for about 30 minutes. This will give you time to gather cookie cutters, simple molds (like used with clay or Sculpey). You will also need non-stick spray if you are planning to use molds.
Knead the dough one more time and it is ready to roll or sculpt! Cookie Cutters: Dust the dough with cinnamon and roll it out between sheets of waxed paper. Cut out "cookies" just as you would the real thing.
Remove the cookie and ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
