If you want to preserve your baby's tiny fingers and toes, use this simple homemade plaster. With ingredients you already have around your home, you can save those precious fingers for a lifetime. Boil 2.5 cups of water.
Add salt, and stir to dissolve. Measure out 4 cups of flour into a large bowl while the water is boiling. When the salt water mixture is ready, pour over the flour.
Mix flour and water together to create your homemade plaster. Once the plaster mixture cools enough, knead it the same way you would bread dough to make a smooth dough. Shape your homemade plaster into a circle, square or heart.
You can use a cake pan to help you make the shape that you desire. Once you have a nicely shaped piece of soft plaster, you can imprint baby's hand or foot print directly into the plaster. Bake your baby's plaster hand or foot print for approximately three hours at 225 degrees F.
Bake on a cookie sheet covered by a layer of aluminum foil for ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
