These squares are delicious with a cup of tea or coffee or as a special dessert for lemon lovers. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a square cake pan.

Blend together the flour, icing sugar, and butter. Fingers are ideal for this. When the mixture is well combined, press it into the buttered pan.

Press down firmly with spatula. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven.
