Painting or glazing pottery is a way to achieve many different effects with relatively little effort. While glaze requires you to fire a pot after application, paint is a good solution if you don't have much time, or if you're going for a certain effect. Often, the design will include at least one straight line, which you can make two ways.
Pour a small amount of glaze or paint into a container. Start painting a line across the pottery using a square-tipped flat paint brush. Take your time and try to achieve a nice, even coat.
Reapply the glaze to your brush when it starts to run out. You'll be able to see the glaze become less consistent and spotty. Pour glaze or paint into a container or palette.
Apply 2 pieces of masking tape to the bisque pottery or tile, leaving a space between them. The distance between the pieces of tape will be the width of your line. Paint glaze over the space between the two pieces of tape on your pottery.
Make sure that the paint reaches the tape on both ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
