I waited 26 years before I got a tattoo they had no meaning to me and signified nothing. I always liked the way they looked on others but never thought they would look as nice on mine. Until I heard the words "Free Tattoo" then I was tned into a whole different world.
I received my first which was very painful, then I got a bit of courage and went back for a second one which hurt just a little more than the first. I suppose I may have tolerated the pain and decided to get a third one which hurt the most ridicously amount. (on the foot) After that it more or less become an addiction, I am currently working on a sleeve. So with these facts in mind as we progress in life we begin to look at the world differently and have different thoughts and view that we may have not had formerlly.
I do not see them bad, I see them as a form of expressing yourself through art that is visible on a body used as a canvas. Good luck :)bellawritter23.
It's your body and you should be allowed to do what you want with it. I have nothing against tattos. To each their own.
I wouldn't get one. For one... I am deathly afraid of needles. For two... I used to work in a bar when I was younger and I saw a lot of people with tattoos.
While one or two or three meaningful tattoos that are placed in fashionable spots don't bother me, I don't like the whole body to be covered in tattoos. I think it can be unproffessional at times if these tattoos can not be covered when they need to be covered. For three... I can't imagine being a sweet old grandma if I have my body covered in tattoos.
Besides, what would it look like when the skin gets all wrinkly. That flower you had now looks wilted!
It depends on how hot she is...or how mean the guys look-that changes my perception of the person-my sister in law has a bunch- she is a pinhead- my freind has a couple- he is cool- my brother has 3 and he's a dentist.... I'd get one if I wasn't such a wuss.
Horrible criminals is what they are. I'm kidding. Tattoos are becoming more common and I think the stereotyping will mostly end soon.
They are now used by many different people so I don't think this question would get the same amswer as it would have when I first got mine.
If I wasn't so broke I would have at least 7 right now. Lol. Personlally I love them.
I think they are amazing works of art (in some cases) and I would love to be half as good as the tatoo artests are. I love the sleeves the most. Not so big on the facial tats though...eh.
I also think that they should be thought about carfully. Only now am I starting to get serious about getting inked with a design that I have pondered on for about 2 years now (chain of stars that wraps around my torso from left sid of neck to right hip ^_^). I know a lot of friends of mine who got drunk or high and got stupid tats.
I have a friend with an amy brown farie on his lower back. THAT is not what I would call art....it's a good drawing though. Lol.
Tattoos have become as common as mullets in the 80's and are almost as cool! LOL! Tattoos have always been a fringe thing, bikers, gang bangers, or armed forces members sporting them.
They have become so overly used, that now it is the untattooed that are the ones that don't follow the crowd. Tattoos scream "blue collar" ( not that there's anything wrong with that ).
I think a small unobtrusive tat is fine, but I don't care for the overdone body art look. Truthfully, I know a number of very nice people with multiple tattoos, however in my subconscious, I still have a negative connotation of people that have them. Might be because when I grew up the only men with tattoos were sailors, bikers and carnival workers.Cheers.
I don't much care for tattoos, especially the ones that are placed on a person's face or covers almost their entire body. But then again, I also don't believe in plastic surgery. I believe in loving what God gave to me.
However, tattoos are a personal thing and everyone has a right to do what they will with their own bodies. For me, I will remain without ink.
I think that tattoos are a great expression of self. The image chosen is one of importance and deep meaning. It's also said that the process of receiving a tattoo is healing.
Personally,I think you just need to make good choices about where you put a tattoo. When you're twenty it looks great let's say behind the ear and on the neck. Oooooo, but when you're fifty.
Not so much. You're not doing that expression of self any good.Thx.XXOOGMD.
I think tattoos are a work of art and it is an expression of who you are as a person.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
