Getting involved in Girl Scouts is a wonderful opportunity for everyone involved. But sometimes the planning can get a little overwhelming - between lesson plans, and making sure the girls have fun. Since Brownie Girl Scouts are the second level in the world of Girl Scouting, the girls are usually ages 7-9.
When planning meetings be sure to keep in mind the ages of the girls and the Try-it badges that will be worked on. Budget your troop finances to help you get through the year of meetings, events and activities. This is a great place to start so you know what you have to work with.
Decide on the frequency of your meetings and where they will be held. Once you figure out your budget and other basics, you can start to figure what you're going to do in your meetings! Try-its can take as many meetings as you would like to complete - generally one or two.
Choose one, and read through the handbook - research online what other troops have done to complete the try-it, come up with your own ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
