How do you politely decline your mothers offer to use her wedding gown for your wedding?

Be honest with her. Tell her that you really appreciate the offer and it's not that you don't like her wedding dress. Tell her you are sure it was beautiful and fit her just right when she wore it, but things have change, and you want the once in a lifetime experience of picking out your own wedding dress.
