How do you record video from AV inputs in Windows Media Center (the Windows 7 version) when you have no remote?

This is a case of using (or trying) the wrong application for the task. Download and use either\and Windows Live Movie Maker and Movie Maker 2.6 from the microsoft download site here download.live.com/moviemaker for live and here microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?Fam... for MM2.6 Note:They are free! Here is a link to a site with some details and help in using them you will find helpful: brighthub.com/multimedia/video/articles/... As an aside Windows media Center is really designed to be used with a remote and maximizes the 'experience'.

I don't know if you have looked at remotes but here is a link to one that I have that is really cool (imho) Note it has scroll buttons, a roller ball\track ball along with left and right mouse buttons that replaces a mouse and can be used in 'normal' windows also. It works with RF, using a USB receiver, not infrared so can be used through walls too! It has all the common media center buttons, inc the 'green' button (start MC) and is Windows 7 compatible.

Well worth the money in my opinion. (I also have the RF keyboard with built in touch pad and media buttons) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Wireless-Trackball-Remote-Mice-Media-Center-MCE-HTPC-PC_W0QQitemZ280436162766QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Collectables_InputDevices_RL?hash=item414b4c40ce.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
