The commercial hard water and mineral removers all say not to use on natural stone. My chemist friends said use vinegar, but that's not all that effective. Has anyone tried the commercial cleaners?
If so, how did it work out? Did it damage the granite? Asked by SharonW 50 months ago Similar questions: remove crusty white hard water stains black granite countertops Home > Home Improvement.

The best cleaner is muriatic acid a weak form of hydrocloric acid This will remove any hard water stain but you must wear gloves and eye protection and DO NOT BREATH THE FUMES. Make sure the counter has been wiped down with lots of water and no other cleaning chemicals are present or you wil lget a unpleasent surprise. You can get the acid in hardware stores.
I use it all the time,my well has very hard water and cloggs my toilets and I disolve the deposits with the acid. It is a good cement cleaner too. As far as damaging the graneit if it is sealed well it should not.
Flush it off quickly quickly do not let it sit for more then 30 seconds. Dilute it by half and apply or follow any instructions on the label. Be verrrrrry careful and do not leave where kids can find it!.
Barkeeper's friend I've used "barkeepers friend" on shower doors with a lot of success. It claims that it's safe for countertops, and doesn't seem abrasive to me. Try it out.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
