Windows in the bathroom and kitchen can develop limescale from moisture. This is especially true of windows that are located in the shower or above the sink. Limescale is difficult to remove because it's a hard mineral.
Mix equal parts of water and white vinegar in a small bowl. Submerse a small towel in the mixture until it is saturated. Press the saturated towel on the limescale and hold it there for several minutes.
This will loosen the limescale and make it easier to remove it from the windows. Scrub the window with a mesh sponge. Scrub firmly in a circular motion.
Rinse the limescale from the windows with warm water. Use copious amounts of water to get a thorough rinse and to prevent smearing on the windows. Repeat Steps 2 through 4 until you remove all the limescale from the windows.
It may take several attempts depending upon the amount of limescale that has built up. Clean the window with newspaper and glass cleaner. Using newspaper instead of cloth will prevent lint from ... more.
