First and foremost, go have the freon removed by a professional... the shop may not charge you for this, as they will be able to refill their own supply of freon from your system. Most systems hold a few pounds, and it is reusable. Just ask, and tell them they can keep the freon On the other hand, if the system is damaged, and the freon has already escaped, the proceed There are two lines on the passenger side of the condenser, and two lines on the drivers side.
The ones on the passenger side are for the freon, the other side is the transmission fluid lines, to cool the fluid Remove the plastic cover over the grill (six screws or so) The condenser will be visible Remove the two plastic brackets holding the condenser to the upper radiator support Disconnect the two line on either side of the condenser, but keep in mind that if your air conditioning system is charged the freon WILL ESCAPE. A small, insignificant amount of transmission fluid will leak also. Just put a pail or rag under the drivers side to catch the oil The condenser will move freely at this point Since you are seeking to do this yourself, I am guessing you are mechanically inclined, and will be able to resolve any small items I have over looked Good luck, and good work.It is not hard, just take your time and remember how it came apart.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
