Here is a quick reminder of how to set up the candles and from which direction to light them. Happy Holidays! Use a traditional menorah, or make your own out of whatever materials you have around (clay, tinfoil, etc).
A Hannukah menorah should have eight candleholders placed side by side, plus a ninth candleholder (traditionally placed above the others) for the lead candle, or Shamash. The menorah is traditionally set up on the left side (as viewed from outside) of the front door, but can also be placed in any window where it is visible by people passing by. If this is not possible, place it in the center of a table, where your entire household can see and enjoy it.
For the first night of Hannukah, face the menorah and place one candle in the holder that is furthest to the right. Place one more candle in the special Shamash holder (traditionally in the center of the menorah, at a higher level than the other candles). Add one ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
