If you drool a lot in your sleep it might have something to do with sleeping with your mouth open because you are having trouble breathing through your nose. Try using a Breathe Right Strip or running a humidifier while sleeping propped up on pillows.
1Sleep on your back. This is the most important step. When most people drool, they're on their sides or even their stomachs.
If you sleep on your back, the saliva will have nowhere to go, and will therefore stay in your mouth. 2Breathe through your nose. When you breathe through your nose, your mouth won't produce as much saliva.
You can also try to keep your mouth closed, however once you fall asleep and your body relaxes, your mouth will fall open naturally. 3Take some medication. If drooling in your sleep is a huge problem and nothing seems to work, consult your doctor about taking medication that reduces the amount of saliva produced in your mouth.
Only use it if your doctor recommends it.
