If she came from a Shelter, ten to one she has Kennel Cough which is rife in such places. You shouldn't lose her but I'd have your vet take a look because KC is more serious with the pup and the elderly and for this reason many vets will prescribe a course of antibiotics to help prevent it going to pneumonia, which is serious. Call them although I'm sure they'll want to see this puppy - and if they do, don't take her into the waiting area.
This is very contageous (shame on the Shelter for rehoming her before getting her through this!) and she will pass this on to all the other dogs in the waiting area, vaccinated or not because viral KC mutates, like human flu, and although vaccination will help the dog shake it off fast, the dog will still be ill. I may be wrong however so your puppy needs a vet check, as is always best practice with a new puppy - always see your own vet within 48 hours of coming home.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
