One of the most powerful learning experiences for students is thinking about how they are learning. Metacognition, put simply, is thinking about thinking. Metacognition may increase learning outcomes.
Moreover, by engaging students in the consideration of the processes and strategies that got them there, students may be more able to replicate those outcomes independently. Acquire reading materials (or other texts; as a music teacher, I have used these strategies with music, as well). The material you'll model for the kids should be somewhat challenging--you're going to model your thinking, and you want it to be reasonable that you might use these strategies. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
