Ruth had a career OBP of 0.474 which means for every 1000 times at the plate 474 times he gets on base. Mariano had a career WHIP of 1.000 which means for every inning he pitched 1 batter would get on base for an OBP of 0.3333333. So Mariano's Whip would trump Ruth's OBP so Mariano would win.

BTW with an OBP of 0.474 for Ruth the average pitcher would beat Ruth more times than he would beat them.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
