Various ways There are a number of ways that a telemarketer can obtain your information. Some places include the phone book, a purchased or rented list and sequential dialing. You can opt out of purchased or rented lists by adding your name to the do not call list sponsored by the government at www.donotcall.gov.

Best way I've heard of to get rid of a telemarketer is to tell them thank you for your time but I'm not interested and hang up. A good majority of the telemarketers will move on to the next number. Remember there is a live person on the other side and they are just doing their job.

It may be the only position they are qualified for. Sources: My Opinion .

They get them everywhere Telemarketers use every source available. The phone books are the obvious one. Beyond that, almost every major business you provide your personal info to will keep it on file.

Once every so often they sell their files to marketing companies. Those marketing companies then resell your info to the telemarketing firms who call you. Many telemarketers also use autodialers, which are able to dial random numbers until they get one that connects to your house.

You can also think of how many people have put their phone numbers on facebook, and other social networking sites, and don't limit their profiles to only friends. People are employed full time just collecting personal information. In fact if you look around the mechanical turk tasks on amazon you will see that several of them are requesting personal information, or contact information for businesses.

These are likely telemarketers, or mass mailing lists looking to add information to their databases. Sources: my opinion .

People sell your information if you have a credit card they sell your information, the hospital, when you buy things online, buy a car, house, anywhere you do business they sell your information I usually sign my name a little differently with each thing I do to see if they sell my info to other people and I have all kinds of mail coming to me in different add on names like jr., full middle name, and etc...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
