They don't do a very good job. But most run-of-the-mill shirt laundries use them because it is faster. For a good job, nothing beats hand ironing, or at least a hand ironing touch-up after the shirt gets "mangled".

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
